Helping People Resolve Conflicts
Civilly, Respectfully and Privately
    Collaborative Law Pros and Cons
What is
Collaborative
Law?
Collaborative Law is a dispute
resolution option, which
enables people to respectfully
and privately resolve their
disputes
out of court.

The Collaborative Law process
works best in cases where
individuals want to preserve
their relationship.  For
example, where a couple
decides to get a divorce, but
want to maintain a healthy
relationship for the sake of the
child.  Or, where a dispute
arises between an employer
and employee or between a
landlord and tenant.

Collaborative Law is based on
a commitment by all parties to
proceed honestly, respectfully,
and in good faith.  It requires a
shared commitment to
voluntary disclosure of all
facts and information material
to the resolution of the
dispute.
